IMPORTANT CHANGES FOR 2005/2006!
As of September 1st, 2005, it is no longer necessary to ship your labels to us for deposit to your Labels for Education™ account.
Participating schools will collect the labels in the same manner as before, but each school will be responsible for verifying the
label and point values.
New Label Verification Procedure
The Label Deposit Form now contains a section that must be filled out and signed by a notary or guarantor. In most cases, the principal of your school can serve as the notary. Click here for a list of eligible guarantors.
Label Shipping No Longer Required
While it will no longer be necessary to ship these labels, we
suggest that you use the methods described below to prepare and store the labels, as it greatly simplifies the process of counting and verifying the point values.
Labels must be retained after deposit for a period of 180 days after mailing the Label Deposit Form. Campbell’s trusts that you will follow the new procedures carefully. Please note, from time to time, Campbell’s may conduct an on-site audit at your school within the 180-day period. After this period, it is the responsibility of the school to destroy the labels.
To speed up handling and to get your merchandise to you faster, please carefully follow the instructions below.

Preparing Labels For Redemption
1. Place labels and UPCs flat for counting. Don’t forget that full labels (UPC and front panel) are required for soup and beverage products. Only the UPC is required for Pepperidge Farm® products and 900 mL Ready to Use broths.
2. Make sure only eligible labels and/or UPCs are included. See Eligible Products.
3. Labels and UPCs: Tie labels and UPCs in bundles of no more than 500. Important recycling note: PLEASE USE WHITE STRING ONLY. Do not use tape, rubber bands, plastic bags, or coloured string since these materials are not recyclable.
4. Bundle labels/UPCs according to same point value. For Example, all 1 point labels/UPCs together in one bundle. See a list of eligible products.
5. Group all bonus value/specially marked labels together. Any Award Certificates must be mailed with Label Deposit Form, do not send Certificates separately.
6.Pack labels and UPCs in a cardboard box. If it is necessary to use more than one box, mark the outside of each with the box number and the total number of boxes in the current deposit (e.g. Box #1 of 3, Box #2 of 3, Box #3 of 3). Be sure to mark the boxes with the date of the deposit, so that these labels will not be used for a future deposit. Your school may be audited during the 180-day holding period.
7.Schools Registered Online: Complete your label banking. Print out a copy of your Label Deposit form (prior to clicking “Deposit Labels”), have it notarized and mail the original to us. Please
remember to keep a second copy for your records. Click here If your school is not registered.
8. Mail the signed Label Deposit Form, along with any appropriate forms (as above) to:
Campbell’s® Labels for Education™
Hilyard Place, Suite 120, 560 Main Street
Saint John, NB E2K 1J5
Remember to make two copies of your deposit form and any other documents - one for your records, and the signed and notarized original to be mailed to us.
9.Once your notarized Label Deposit form is received, your
account balance will be verified online. Your account will be verified and updated within 4 weeks of the mailing date. Please remember that Campbell’s may perform an onsite audit at your school during the 180-day period following the mailing of your forms, so store the labels in a secure location and keep copies of your documentation.
10. Deposit labels any time between September 1, 2005, and May 15th, 2006. You can still deposit after May 15th, 2006, but these deposits will not be included in the 2005/2006 Label Drive Contest. Remember to keep a copy of your Label Deposit form for your records. Do not send labels to the above
address or to Campbell Company of Canada (Toronto, ON); they will be returned at your school’s expense. Cash On Delivery (C.O.D.) or postage due shipments will not be accepted.
