TORONTO, Ontario July 22, 2015 – Campbell Company of Canada will make changes across its portfolio to better connect with consumers on issues that matter to them, and to simplify selected products in line with commitments made by the Campbell Soup Company.

The announcement made by Denise Morrison, President and Chief Executive Officer, Campbell Soup Company identified plans to remove artificial colours and flavours from nearly all products by the end of fiscal 2018 and move away from the use of high fructose corn syrup in new products and in certain existing products.
In Canada, there are no artificial flavours or colours in the Campbell’s® soups enjoyed by families across the country.

In Canada, there are no artificial flavours or colours in the Campbell’s® soups enjoyed by families across the country. Less than five per cent of our remaining Canadian portfolio contains any artificial flavours, colours and we plan to remove these ingredients from nearly all recipes by the end of fiscal 2018. We will also move away from the use of high fructose corn syrup in new products and certain existing products.

Campbell Canada also plans to take steps to provide consumers with a wide range of information about our products – from the ingredients we use to how and where our food is made. This information will be available on www.whatsinmyfood.ca, set to launch later this year and will initially be specific to Campbell’s soups produced proudly in our Toronto facility.
